My name is Jarques Pretorius and I am a User Interface Designer based in San Francisco, CA. Currently I am the Lead Front-End Designer/Developer at a startup called Academia.edu
I am a graduate of The Art Institute of California - San Francisco where I received my Bachelors of Science in Web Design and Interactive Media. During my course of study I had the opportunity to perfect my skills as a web designer and programmer.
I have a passion for creating a User Interface that does not require an instruction manual, an interface where every little detail adds to the experience.
